Time......do you find yourself always running out?
Tick, tick, tick, tick……..time just goes, it is unstoppable, unchangeable, always ticking along…….so why do we keep running out of time? And why do our best laid time management plans not make an impact?
Firstly, I don’t think we can actually manage time. What I do think is that we can manage how we spend time. That might seem like semantics but, for me, gives a different mindset entirely. After all, why set myself up to manage something over which I have no control? I will have failed before I’ve even started!
So, how do we spend time? Well, 60 minutes in an hour, 8 hours in an average work day, 5 days in a week….that’s an amazing 2,400 minutes in a week!!
Where do all those minutes go? There’s a chance you could be spending some of those minutes on admin tasks that have to be done but aren’t really adding value? Or maybe you are swamped with manual tasks that would be much quicker if only your systems all connected up?
