Dress codes revisited

Dress codes revisited

This time last year I looked at work dress codes in light of news that some schools were updating their uniform requirements to support social mobility and/or move towards a more gender neutral approach.

But, a year on and how much has changed!!!

With the increase in working from home, has this impacted your dress code? Has it made you realise that a good proportion of jobs can be carried out whatever the employees are wearing? Now we know what everyone’s lounge / children / pets look like, do they really need to wear a suit for that meeting?

And what about masks….do you provide custom face masks for your employees, I have seen some organisations offering them in corporate colours. Or do you supply the basic disposable masks? What about those individuals who prefer to wear their own, where do you draw the line on personalisation and individuality?

If you want to discuss your organisation’s dress code or any other HR policy or you would like some assistance in updating policies, get in touch with me for an initial FREE consultation.
